Las Vegas, Nevada (New York New York Roller Coaster)

My new friend "Zissy" took this picture. It is from Las Vegas, NV and is a picture of New York New York. It is located on the Las Vegas strip.  This is what it says about the roller coaster at their site.

The Roller Coaster will lift you up 203 feet, drop you down 144 feet and leave your pulse trying to catch up to 67 mph.  Simulating a jet fighter's barrel roll, you'll turn 180 degrees, hang 86 feet in the air, take the famous "heartline" twist and dive, and get your negative g's on! Ah, what a rush.

Summer Breeze

This is called "Summer Breeze" and is from Quiltmaker. Connie D. writes to me, "This is a craft that has been around for 300 or more years. People did quilt and sew them by hand. The top is pieced together with colored fabric. Quilting is the sewing through the top, batting layer (middle) and backing fabric. Many do this by machine now.

Welcome to my Blog

Postcards tell a story, this is a project to help me learn history and geography, map learning, maybe a new language, start a new collection and even make a few new pen pals (I am in 3rd grade and my mom is helping me with this),  I hope to also add other information to each place I collect from to help me learn about the culture, its language, people, etc.

Please consider joining me on facebook and helping me accomplish my goal: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002077817373
